  OMPL is also available through through several package managers:

  • Ubuntu (14.04 and higher),
  • Fedora,
  • MacPorts, and
  • Homebrew.

  Note that these package managers may not always have the latest release.

Repositories

• The latest source is available via Mercurial or Git. For anonymous checkout use:

• Alternatively, get a snapshot for the latest source code:

• Installation instructions are the same as for a release.

OMPL in ROS

• OMPL is used as a system dependency in ROS, and the correct .deb file is installed automatically as needed.
• OMPL is also used as a planning plugin in MoveIt!
